Poppy
Behrens is Executive Editor of MiniCo, Inc.,
publishers of Mini-Storage Messenger, a monthly
magazine covering the global self-storage industry. In
addition to leading Mini-Storage Messenger’s
editorial efforts, Poppy is the executive editor of
MiniCo’s annual Self-Storage Almanac and Development
Handbook, the bimonthly Self-Storage Now!,
the quarterly Mobile Self-Storage Magazine, and
the biannual RV & Boat Storage Today. Since
joining MiniCo in 2000, Poppy has become actively
involved in the self-storage community through serving,
among other appointments, on the trade show program
development committee for the Arizona Self Storage
Association. Prior to joining MiniCo, she was the
Associate Editor of Newport Beach magazine and
worked as a freelance writer since 1990. Poppy is also
a member of the American Society of Business Publication
Editors. |

Bob Bradley is the Executive Vice President of Dahn Corporation, a privately held real estate investment company
specializing in the self storage industry. Bob joined the organization in 1978 as an acquisition
analyst and new project development coordinator. His duties include
negotiating real estate contracts with property owners, lenders and
brokers and performing financial analysis on the acquisition of
existing properties and development projects. He has had direct
responsibility in the acquisition, development and disposition of
over 75 properties in nine states. Bob's responsibilities also
include facilitating governmental entitlements for
development projects, interacting with lending
institutions, attorneys, engineers, architects and
appraisers. He also monitors real estate market
conditions in major metropolitan areas and is
responsible for construction cost analysis. Bob has over 27 years real estate experience. Before
coming to Dahn Corporation, he was the site leasing and tenant
improvement coordinator for a private developer constructing medical
office buildings in southern California. A graduate of California State University San Diego in 1977,
Bob also holds a California real estate license. |

Paul Glover is the president
of Storage Choice, a family-owned company that bought
its first self-storage facility in 1994 and has grown
through acquisitions to eight properties in the Houston
and Dallas-Fort Worth markets. He is also a vice
president of Ladd Holdings, an investment company whose
investments include Dallas-area office buildings,
commercial warehouse space, residential developments,
residential investment property and a locker
manufacturing company. Paul graduated from the
University of Texas-Arlington with a finance degree. |

Barry Hoeven
is President and Founding Partner of Westport Properties
(trade name US Storage Centers), located in Newport
Beach, CA. Founded in 1985, Westport
develops, acquires and manages self-storage facilities
with a long-term hold philosophy utilizing private and
institutional equity capital. Barry has over 29
years of real estate experience with heavy emphasis in
all aspects of self-storage and business park
development. He oversees all key aspects of development
and management operations for Westport. Barry's
prior experience/employment includes Public Storage, The
Irvine Company and the Seeley Company. |

Hugh Horne is president and
chief executive officer of Storage Spot, Inc.,
StorageWorld, L.P. and Horne Developments, LLC.
Hugh worked with Public Storage, Inc. (NYSE:PSA) from
1972 to 1997 as president of its Real Estate Development
Group, where he was responsible for developing 750
self-storage properties totaling 45 million square feet
and 100 commercial properties totaling six million
square feet. While at Public Storage, he directed
340 employees and led acquisition and development
operations in 38 states and four Canadian provinces.
After leaving Public Storage, Hugh founded StorageWorld,
a Boston-based institutional partnership, and its
operating general partner, Storage Spot, in 1998.
StorageWorld managed, developed and operated a portfolio
of 26 self-storage properties comprising 15,000 rental
units and 1.75 million square feet in seven south
central and southeastern states. Extra Space
Storage (NYSE: EXR) purchased this portfolio in 2004 and
today Hugh serves on Extra Space Storage’s Board of
Directors. He is also a director of Dolce Food
Corporation. |

Peter Lewis is
a founder and principal of Wharton Equity Partners, LLC,
a diversified financial investment company with
interests in real estate and private equity, that since
its founding has developed and acquired more than $300
million in real estate. Prior to forming the
company, Peter was a senior member of the Direct
Investment Group of EF Hutton, where he was responsible
for equity investment of more than $1 billion in
commercial and residential real estate, as well as
venture capital opportunities. Before joining EF
Hutton, he worked in commercial banking and tax
accounting. Peter received an economics degree
from the Wharton School at the University of
Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration
degree from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia
University. He is a frequent guest lecturer in
real estate and venture capital investing. |

Marv Lotz is a self-storage
industry pioneer who played a key role in shaping the
industry into today’s highly successful real estate
asset class. He spent two decades as a member of
the Public Storage senior management team, including
serving as a senior vice president; president of its
management company, real estate division and real estate
acquisition group; and member of its Board of Directors.
Marv is currently an investor and owner of several
self-storage facilities and provides consulting services
to industry clients. |

Bruce Manley,
who has been involved in the self-storage business since
1986 as an operator and developer, is chief executive
officer of United Stor-All Centers. Headquartered
in the Philadelphia suburb of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania,
United Stor-All Centers is a fully integrated real
estate organization with expertise in the ownership,
acquisition, development, construction and management of
self-storage properties. Since 1996, Bruce has
been a principal developer of 29 projects, primarily in
greater Philadelphia (eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and
New Jersey), Southeast Florida and Long Island.
These projects cost approximately $140 million to
develop and have a current $200 million market value.

John
Sheehan worked in the commercial real estate
industry for five years before joining the St.
Louis-based analyst team at A.G. Edwards & Sons in
1997. His analyst coverage includes real estate
investment trusts, focusing primarily on the ownership
of health care and self-storage properties. John
previously followed apartment REITs for several years
and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He is a former
member of the Urban Land Institute and a current member
of both the National Association of Real Estate
Investment Trusts and the St. Louis Society of Financial
Analysts. John received a bachelor's degree with
emphases in finance and real estate, and a Master of
Business Administration degree, from the University of
Missouri. |
